Aspects of the Whole
Adam Lofbomm, Otto Rascon, Lisa Stefaniak, Robert Tolchin
Curated by Lisa Stefaniak
March 9 – April 27, 2017
Within nature and humanity exists necessary elements that contribute to a sustainable structure. Aspects of the Whole showcases the importance of grids; how they are used for maintaining organization, for visual design, and for dividing a large idea into smaller segments.
Repetition and multiplicity are concepts explored by these artists. The focus on the significance of depth is what provides balance in a world of complexity. This superficial structure is merely a foundation, yet what lies beneath is what allows us to connect as individuals, within and without.
